Mentor / Friend (Women)
Do you have a heart for a deeper, ongoing connection? We can pair you with a single mom and her children who need consistent friendship and support. This looks like being a stable, reliable presence — someone who shows up, listens, and walks alongside her over time.
Lead / Host a Not Alone Community (Women / Couple)
Want to see God show up in front of your eyes? Lead or host a community of single moms! By inviting 4-8 single moms into your life, you’ll be amazed at how your heart and passions will grow. Communities meet once or twice a month. This looks like hospitality, love, and presence - you bring those, we’ll teach you how!
Invite Others - Tell Your Friends - Host a Dessert (All)
One of the most impactful things you can do is share Not Alone with your friends. Invite a friend to take a casual “tour” of Not Alone. Host a dessert or coffee night in your home (or ours!) where Matt and I can share stories and the impact Not Alone is having in our community. You never know who God is already stirring to join the movement.
ANNUAL EVENTS
February - Valentines Day - Special Delivery!
For every mom in our community who doesn’t have a sweetheart, we deliver a small, thoughtful gift to her doorstep — a tangible reminder that she is deeply loved and seen by the Lord. (Deliver Gifts)
June - Self Care Night - Our Biggest Event of the Year!
For self-care night, I would say, our biggest event of the year, this is an unforgettable night created just for the single moms at Not Alone. Along with a catered dinner, mamas get pampered (massages, haircuts, facials, and more), receive healing prayer, and enjoy fun crafts. From childcare to set up/tear down and everything in between, this event is full of ways to support and help! (Set-up / Take-down, Vacuum Cars, Love on Mamas)
July - Kid’s Olypmics Picnic
Held at Fox Run Park, this summer favorite includes a picnic lunch and “Olympics-style” games for moms and kids — full of laughter and connection. (Set-up / Take-down, Officiate Events, Play)
August - Pool Party
A local pool opens just for Not Alone families! Volunteers help grill BBQ, welcome moms, and create a relaxed, joy-filled evening. (Grill, Love on Mamas)
December - Christmas Brunch Party
A festive morning with Santa, breakfast, raffle prizes, and Christmas games for moms and their children. (Set-up / Take-down, Serve, Love on Mamas)
December - Christmas Gift Wrapping - Our Largest Outreach of the Year!
Volunteers select and wrap gifts for our single moms, which are then delivered on Christmas Eve — often one of the most meaningful nights of the year. (Wrap Presents, Deliver Presents)
