JUST STARTING
If this season feels new and overwhelming, you are not alone.
If you are newly navigating single motherhood—or walking through a painful, uncertain season—you may be carrying fear, grief, exhaustion, and more questions than answers. You do not need to have everything figured out to take one small next step.
If you are new to all of this, you may be feeling….
Shock that life changed so quickly.
Fear about finances and the future
Shame, confusion, feelings of judgment
Exhaustion from carrying so much
Pressure to keep it all together
Lonely, who can you turn to and trust
If this is you, there is nothing wrong with you,
you’re in a new season and may need help getting your feet under you.
What may help right now
You do not have to solve everything at once. The key is to take one step at a time.
For some, you may be in a relationship that feels difficult, controlling, or unsafe
You do not need to label your situation perfectly to deserve support. If you are feeling afraid, isolated, constantly blamed, or unsure what is normal, it may help to talk with someone safe and trained. We are not here to pressure you toward a particular decision. We are here to remind you that your safety, dignity, and well-being matter.
It may be time to reach out if:
You feel afraid of your partner’s reactions
You are being isolated from support
Money, transportation, or communication is being controlled
You feel like you are walking on eggshells
Your children are being used to pressure or manipulate you
